Objectives

  • Viewing of video on the imperative mood
  • Practice and self-check of grammar skills using online textbook resources
  • Participation in Discussion Board to clarify grammar concepts, as needed
  • Viewing of instruction video on giving and receiving directions with a map
  • Voluntary participation in weekly synchronous class meeting

Assessments

  • Audio quiz where students have to use map and spoken directions to travel from one location to the next.
  • Video recording of students giving directions using a map and the correct register of the imperative mood based upon context
